deceptive dreams of corporate.the sun's rays hit everyone in the exact same way. no matter where you're at in life, we're all looking for the same damn light. fighting for attention from our mother's, while our brother's play with guns. son's of banker's and their misstresses, bouncing matresses have become our place of worship. our heart's no longer beat like drums, but like the swinging fists of our drunken fore-father's; we've lost touch with sincerity and truth. we wear our bruises like war paint, while we're crouching in the corner waving sticks, hoping to keep the skeleton's in their closet's. &deceptive dreams of corporate.

toNIGHTMARES.thumb pointing to the north star, trying to catch a ride. the compass spins while sinners win, and the great keep dying young. yet the wicked live forever, with memories hanging over their heavy hearts. it started with a phone call, a hospital waiting room, a lover's croon, and a lowered casket. i'm at the graveyard, trying to hold on to my dreams, to the things that shouldn't die. but i still end up crying. our young lives are dictated by headlines and burial plots, i thought being a kid was meant to be easy. with crayons and swing-sets and starstoNIGHTMARES.
